Description
No. 6 Ratford Hill is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one dwelling. They date from the 18th century and are constructed of painted rubble stone with a thatched roof that is half-hipped on the east side. There is a ridge stack located between the cottages and a west end stack. The larger cottage on the right features a two-window range of casement pairs, most of which have been renewed, along with two eyebrow features and a central raking buttress. The left cottage is slightly lower and has a one-window range of casement pairs, with the upper window situated under an eyebrow. There is a door to the right of this cottage that has a gabled timber hood. These cottages were formerly known as Nos. 5 and 6 and are included for their group value.
