Description

No. 52 is a house that was originally two cottages, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of red and blue brick and features a tiled roof. The building has two bays, with each cottage originally consisting of one room and a side passage. The current entrance is a central boarded door, and there are 19th-century windows with segmental heads. A vitrified blue band runs at the first-floor level. There is a stack to the right of each bay, and the roof is half hipped to the right. At the rear, there is a former smithy.
