Description

The Whitmarsh Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 34 metres west of the Church of St. Laurence. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a plinth and has two beaded panels on the main sides. It has a chamfered flat top that bears an inscription. The monument commemorates George Whitmarsh, who died in 1821.
