Description
No. 11 Milford Street is a mid to later 18th century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red brick with chamfered rendered quoins. It features a steep hipped roof covered with old tiles and has moulded eaves. The building includes a flat-topped dormer and one window on the upper floors. The second floor has a tripartite flush framed sash window, while the first floor features a flush framed Venetian window. The ground floor is occupied by a Victorian shop, which has a three-light window with thin colonettes and basket handle arches above the lights, along with a fascia and blind case that are flanked by floral capped brackets. No. 11, along with the Cathedral Hotel and Nos. 11 to 17 (odd), forms a group of buildings.
