Description
Dun-ro-min is a mid-18th century house located at the end of a row in Allington, Boscombe. The building is constructed of brick with a decorative pattern of flint and brick lacing on the gable, and it has a slate roof. It stands two storeys high with two bays and a central stair hall, which is now used as a lobby, in a half bay. The entrance features an off-centre four-panelled door with a simple canopy above. On either side of the door are casement windows with gauged brick lintels, elongated keystones, and a platband. The first floor has a central opening that is blind. The eaves are cogged, and there are gable stacks. At the rear, there is a 19th-century brick extension that was raised to two storeys in the 20th century. Inside, the right room contains a large fireplace, while the left bay was used as a shop in the early 20th century.
