Description

Nos 25 to 28 on The Green are a pair of buildings dating from the 16th to 17th century. They are two storeys high and constructed with a timber frame that is plastered. The roof is made of old tiles, hipped on the left side and featuring a half-hipped gable on No 28, which also has a tile-hung first floor. The first floor has irregular three-light lead casement windows, while the ground floor includes four plain doors and three sash shop windows. The west front of No 28 showcases the tile-hung first floor. These buildings, along with Nos 19 to 32, form a cohesive group.
