Description
The churchyard gatepiers and gates located to the west of Holy Trinity Church date from the 19th century and are constructed from ashlar stone. Each gatepier stands approximately 8 feet high and features plain plinths, Gothic inset panels, and projecting tops adorned with ball-finials. Between the gatepiers are double wrought-iron gates. These structures are part of a group that includes other listed buildings on Church Street, such as the Chantry, Little Chantry, Barton Orchard, and the Catholic Church of St Thomas More, along with several properties on Barton Orchard and Newtown.
