Description
Sunnyside is a detached cottage dating from around 1700, with a late 19th-century outshut. The building is constructed of brick with flint bands and features a thatched roof that is half-hipped to the right, with a brick stack on the left side. It is two stories high and has two windows. The central entrance consists of a 19th-century four-panelled door set within a corrugated iron porch. To the right of the door is an eight-pane sash window, and to the left is a three-light casement window. There is a two-brick plat band to the left of the front at first floor level, with a three-light casement and a two-light casement window above. The left side of the building is mostly chalk-built and has no windows, while the right side is rendered. At the rear, there are two-light casement windows on the first floor, and the outshut features a Roman tiled roof.
