Description
This is a pair of shops with a first-floor office, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of ashlar, with Welsh slate roofing to number 6 and concrete slate roofing to numbers 4 and 4a. It has ashlar stacks with moulded capping and coped verges. The building is three storeys high and features three windows across the front. The ground floor has 20th-century shop fronts. The first floor has a central sash window in a moulded case, with a pair of sashes, also in moulded cases, on either side, none of which have glazing bars. A plat band runs above the first floor. The second floor has three moulded cases, with 9-pane sashes to numbers 4 and 4a, and a single casement window to number 6. A moulded cornice and blocking course top the building. A brick wing to the rear has 2-light and 3-light cyma-mullioned windows on the first floor.
