Nos. 87 and 88 on High Street are a pair of cottages dating from the 17th or early 18th century. They are constructed from limestone rubble and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages are single storey with an attic, each having two bays and sharing a central stack.

No. 87 has a 20th-century door on the left and two ground floor 4-pane sash windows of different sizes, both with timber lintels. The first floor has small 4-pane sash windows with raked roofs. No. 88 is rendered and includes ground floor shop windows with a central door and fascia that is shared with No. 89. The first floor windows on No. 88 match those of No. 87.
