Description
Court Cottage and the house adjoining the White Hart Inn to the south are a pair of cottages with origins dating back to the 17th century, although they were refronted in the 18th century. They are constructed from rubble stone and feature a stone tiled roof, with a ridge stack and a stack at the south end. The buildings are two storeys high.
On the first floor, there are two 2-light bead-moulded mullion windows, one of which has small pane sashes. The ground floor includes, from left to right, a low pair of casement windows, a 12-pane window at landing level, paired 12-pane casements, and a door leading to the left side house. There is also a door to Court Cottage and a 2-light bead-moulded mullion window with sashes. Inside the left side house, there is a moulded Tudor arched stone fireplace with a stone shelf above it, along with two stop-chamfered spine beams.
