Description

A flight of twenty stone steps leads from the village green to the west gate of the churchyard. The steps likely date from the 18th or 19th century. An early 19th-century cast-iron handrail runs along the south side of the steps. At the top, double cast-iron gates with spearheads are hung on plain limestone ashlar gate piers, likely dating from the 1833 restoration of the church.
