Description
This is a house located at 5 Manor Farm Lane, dating from the 17th century. It is timber framed with whitewashed brick noggings and has a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and two bays, with a central l-bay rear wing that was added in the 19th century. The framing consists of four panels high with ogee corner braces, and the right gable is framed independently. There is a later 20th-century door in the right bay that replaces the original door at the right end. The house features 20th-century paned windows, along with square oriel windows on the gable and in the main living room of the left bay. The roof is half hipped, and there is a brick stack on the left, or north, gable.
