Description
Nos 63 to 67 on Market Place are mid-19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall. The front is rendered, featuring rusticated quoins to the right of Nos 65 and 67, while No 67 has painted quoins on the left. There is a moulded string course at the first floor level. The late glazed sash windows are adorned with moulded eared architraves and vermiculated keystones. Above the door to No 63, there is one range of ordinary-sized windows, followed by two ranges of tripartite windows. Nos 63 and 65 have plain cornices, whereas No 67 features a modillion cornice at the blocking course. The entrance to No 63 has a rounded-headed pilastered doorpiece with decorative moulding and a keystone above the arch, leading to a half-glazed door. Nos 65 and 67 have modern shop fronts.
