Description

This is a late 18th century, two-story cottage located at the rear of numbers 48 and 50 on the Market Place, separated by a narrow courtyard. The cottage is constructed of coursed squared rubble with ashlar corner piers. The north front features a moulded cornice and a segmental-headed window on the first floor, with a moulded architrave. It has a hipped roof covered in old tiles. To the east, there are two late-glazed sash windows on the first floor, set within ashlar surrounds. A one-and-a-half-story extension projects to the south, featuring a raking top dormer. The ground floor has been altered.
