Description
A terrace of three houses located on Abbey Row, Malmesbury, dating to around 1770. The houses are constructed of rendered coursed limestone rubble, with No. 74 retaining an unrendered finish. They feature brick party wall stacks and a stone slate roof. The design follows a double-depth plan, with each house arranged over two storeys and featuring a single-window range. The facades have ashlar plinths and cambered heads over the ground-floor openings. Nos. 70 and 72 originally had external doors; No. 74 has a door on its right-hand side. No. 70 now has a late 20th-century door and casement windows, while Nos. 72 and 74 retain panelled doors and late 19th-century 2/2-pane sash windows in exposed frames. The interiors have not been inspected.
