Description
The Seven Stars Inn is an inn dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, constructed of squared rubble stone with tiled roofs. The main front range is a low single storey with an attic, likely from the 18th century, featuring a south stack, coped gables, and flush mullion windows with three lights on each side. There is a central door and a mounting block to the left. At the north end, there is a single storey addition that includes a similar two-light window. To the east, there are two ranges; the first is partly made of rubble stone and partly of squared rubble, with a ground floor triple casement window and a 12-pane sash window on the first floor, finished with Bridgwater tiles. The range beyond, likely from the 19th century, is taller and has end stacks, while its south front is obscured by large 20th-century additions. The inn has been recorded since 1755.
