Description
No. 18 Bridge Street is a late 18th century or early 19th century building that stands three storeys tall. It is constructed of freestone, featuring an ashlar surround around the upper window and ashlar quoins. The roof is covered with pantiles. The building has wooden eaves and one window on each floor. The upper two floors have sash windows with intact glazing bars. The ground floor has a doorway to the left, which includes a rectangular fanlight above. The door is a six-panel design, with the upper four panels being glazed. This building is included for its group value, as it is part of a collection that also includes Nos. 12 to 14, Nos. 16 to 25, the Old Forge on Bridge Street, and Nos. 1 and 2 St Margaret's Street.
