Description

The outbuilding located to the north-east of Westbury House is an ashlar-faced structure from the late 18th century. It stands two storeys tall and features five windows on the first floor, with one window on each side elevation. The windows are double-hung sashes set in reveals with glazing bars. The building has a plain string course at the sill levels, a moulded cornice, and a plain parapet adorned with stone urns and pineapples at the corners. The ground floor serves as a public shelter and has an opening supported by four Tuscan columns, with the end columns being engaged. This section is topped with an entablature and a pediment. Additionally, the left side elevation includes a rusticated doorway that features a keystone and a pediment. This outbuilding is part of a group that includes the Three Horseshoes, Nos 1 to 4 Frome Road, the Liberal Club, the Baptist Chapel, the Congregational Church and Hall, and several other listed buildings in the vicinity.
