Description
The dovecote and stable, located immediately north of the Manor House, dates from the 17th century. It is constructed from limestone and quartzitic sandstone rubble, with the east gable rendered. The building features a stone slate roof, complete with a gable stack and a glover. An external stone stair leads to the rear of the structure. The front has twin gables that were either built or reconstructed in the 20th century. On the ground floor, there are four loose boxes arranged around a hexagonal center, with flattened arches that have keystones, made of timber and supported by raised timber columns. The first floor contains nest holes in the gable that have been filled in and plastered.
