Description

Manor Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and originally comprised five bays, with a gable facing the street. The layout features a central stair hall flanked by reception rooms. A central 4-panelled door is set within a 20th-century gabled porch. Later 19th-century windows with four panes are present, each with wide ashlar radial flat lintels. A six-pane window is located above the entrance. There are three hipped timber casement dormers, and part of the right-hand gable stack has been rebuilt in concrete blocks. A two-storey extension in brick and slate is attached to the left side and now serves as a kitchen. A two-storey rear wing with a slate roof connects to a 20th-century cross wing.
