Description

This is a mirrored pair of houses dating from the mid-19th century, located on King Street in Lower Brixham. The houses have solid rendered walls and a slate roof, with a rendered chimney stack on each side wall. They are three storeys high and two windows wide, with a central doorway for each house. The doorways are accessed via three steps and feature four-panelled doors. Each house has a canted bay window at either end of the ground floor, with a moulded top cornice that extends over the doorways. The upper-storey windows are round-headed in the centre and square-headed on the sides, all with box frames. All windows are 2-paned sash windows with a single horizontal glazing bar. A small boxed eaves cornice runs along the top of the building.
