Description
33 King Street is a mid-19th century house located in Lower Brixham. It features solid rendered walls and a slated roof, with a double-depth plan and three storeys. The building is two windows wide, with the ground storey showcasing a central doorway flanked by canted bay windows. These bay windows have moulded top cornices that extend across the doorway, which is accessed by two steps, the first made of Devonian limestone and accompanied by an old iron shoe scraper on the right. The upper-storey windows are plain, fitted with box-framed sashes. All sashes are two-paned, with a single upright glazing-bar and horns. The house has a deep flat eaves-cornice and is included for its group value with nearby structures.
