Description
The Board of Ordnance boundary stone, located at SX 9400 5595 in Brixham, was erected in 1830 by Colonel Birch. This short, square block is made of Devonian limestone and currently forms part of a stile. Each of its four faces features a rounded top. The front displays the carved letters "BO" and the number "1," with an arrow at the top. The right side has three carved letters, "H W," although the third letter is damaged. The top of the stone is grooved to provide better footing for walkers.
