Description
This is a pair of chest tombs located in the churchyard, dating from 1770 to 1780. They are made of limestone and feature moulded tops and bases. The side panels are plain with lightly incised decorations surrounding the inscriptions. The northern tomb commemorates Anne Bradford, who died in 1770, and Cornelius Bradford, who died in 1780. The southern tomb is dedicated to Joanna Bradford, who died in 1773, and William Bradford, who died in 1778; their parents' inscription is illegible. The tombs are situated 3 meters south of the south chancel wall of the Church of St. Mary in Lydiard Park.
