Description

The Weston chest tomb, located in the churchyard 6 metres southeast of the south porch of the Church of St. Mary in Lydiard Park, dates from around 1798. It is made of limestone and features a moulded table and base, with recessed fluted balusters and lightly incised decoration surrounding the inscriptions. The tomb commemorates Susanna Weston, who died in 1798, and Joan Weston, who died in 1803.
