Description

Chesterfield House is a late 17th-century building that was refaced in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble with a modern tiled roof and has two storeys plus an attic. The first floor features two windows with glazing bar sashes set in wooden surrounds. On the ground floor, there is a small stone single-storey bay to the right, which has sashes with diamond lattice glazing. The entrance boasts a wide doorway with a Tuscan portico that includes a pediment, along with timber pilasters, a cornice, and a parapet. The outline of a former gabled roof can still be seen on the facade, and there are later single-storey extensions at the rear.
