Description

Baugh Farmhouse is a late 17th and early 18th century gabled rubble stone building originally of an "L" shape. The exterior has been rendered and is covered with a pantile roof. A large two-story Victorian extension has been added to the west, and a projecting kitchen wing to the east. The north front has two gables, with Victorian windows. A double-saddle roofed Victorian wing features four windows to the west and three windows plus a glazed porch to the east.

Inside, original features remain, including ridged stops to beam chamfers and a large fireplace in the kitchen, which contains a 19th century bread oven. The attic contains one original oak door frame with stop chamfer and one room has an inscription in the plaster reading "1713 RB." There are two vaulted stone cellar chambers; the inner chamber, accessible from the kitchen, can be locked off. The staircase has been altered.
