Description
This is a wall with a stile, gate, and piers located about 10 meters west of the Church of St James the Great, dating from the 18th to early 19th century. The wall is constructed of random limestone rubble and features a heavy slag block coping. It measures approximately 18 meters in length and about one meter in height, marking the western boundary of the churchyard. The stile is made from a limestone panel with freestone piers on either side, which are splayed at the edges. The cast iron gate has spear tops on the rails and trefoil finials, with plain square piers flanking it.
