Description
The Former Bone Mill at Charfield Mills is a building dated 1812. It is constructed of rubble with coarsely cut quoins and features a hipped slate roof. The structure has three storeys, a basement, and attics with dormers. There are six 2-light casement windows that sit under segmental brick heads. The entrance is located at the first floor level of the south gable end and is accessed by a flight of stone steps. Inside, the mill retains original boarded floors and has beams supported by cast iron columns, along with some box-frame girder beams.
