Description
Charfield House is a mill owner's house built in the early to mid-19th century. The building is rendered and features a 20th-century tiled roof and rendered stacks. It has three storeys and three bays, with 16-pane glazing bar sash windows that have 20th-century outer shutters. On the ground floor, there are French windows. The central entrance has a six-panel door set within a doorcase that includes panelled pilasters. There are single-storey wings on either side, both of which are from the 20th century.
