Description
The walls dividing a star pond, located 20 yards southeast of Cross Hands Farmhouse, are likely from the mid-19th century and were restored in the 1980s. They consist of five low ramped rubble walls that slope down to a central plinth. These walls are of agricultural interest as they allow stock from five different pens to share the pond. This site is also significant as it is situated on the edge of an Ancient Monument (Avon 70).
