Description

The monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 7 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St. James the Less. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of freestone. The tomb features a moulded slab with decorated corner pilasters beneath a frieze. It has oval inscription panels adorned with elaborate decorative foliate spandrels and a moulded base. The inscription on the tomb is no longer legible.
