Description

The Cape monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 7 metres west of the Unitarian Chapel in Frenchay. It dates from the 18th century and is made of freestone. The tomb features a moulded plinth, corner baroque balusters, and panels with one incised moulding, topped with an ogee moulded slab. The earliest legible date on the monument is 1739.
