Description
The Hobbs monument and railings, located in the churchyard 20 metres west of the Unitarian Chapel, is an altar tomb and vault dating from the early 19th century, created by O. Greenway. The monument features a moulded plinth topped with a plain slate slab, which is flanked by consoles. Above this is a moulded cornice and a decorated urn set against a pointed field. The entire structure stands in front of a protruding section of rubble wall. In front of the monument, there is a curved vault stone that is surrounded by railings.
