Description

This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 20 metres south of the tower of the Church of St. James the Less, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of freestone and features a cavetto moulded slab supported by fielded corner pilasters. The ends of the tomb are plain but include shell decoration. The sides have panels adorned with flower and ring motifs, and it has a moulded base. The earliest legible date on the tomb is 1801.
