Description
The former stables and barn, located 20 yards south of the Cross Hands Hotel, date from the late 17th century to early 18th century. The building is constructed of rubble with ashlar quoins and features a double Roman tiled roof with coped verges and saddlestones. It is a long range that originally had four windows, which are now two-light casements with stone mullions set beneath dripstones. On the first floor, there are oculus windows in square openings and plain doors leading to the loft. The ground floor has modern doors situated beneath the loft doors at either end of the building.
