Description
Brook House is an early 19th-century building located in Bitton Swineford. It consists of two cottages, with the left-hand cottage being slightly later than the right-hand one. The structure is two storeys high and constructed from Bath stone ashlar, featuring coped gables and chimneys with weathered bases. There are plat bands present on the building. The right-hand cottage retains a cornice and parapet. Originally, there were two windows on the left-hand cottage and three on the right, but all are now blocked. Additionally, there are blocked doorways, with the right-hand cottage featuring a central doorway that has a flat bracketed hood.
