Description

Slait Lodge is a lodge built around 1750, likely designed by Thomas Wright of Durham. The building is rendered and features a hipped slate roof with a central octagonal stack that has an embattled parapet. It is designed in the Gothick style and stands two storeys tall. The lodge has four round corner turrets, each topped with embattled parapets. The façade includes two windows and a central door; the windows are two-light casements set under drip moulds, with small gables on the first floor, while the central entrance is a plank door.
