Description

Mount Pleasant Farmhouse is a farmhouse that underwent refronting in the mid-19th century, with later alterations. The building is constructed of rubble with quoins and stone dressings, topped with a slate roof that features pantiles and double Roman tiles on the rear wing. It is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys with three windows, all of which are 16-pane sashes with flat architraves and projecting keys. The central entrance features a panelled and glass door beneath a flat hood supported by brackets.

On the right side, there is an attic window with two fixed lights, a flat head, and a keystone. The rear includes a 1½ storey wing that has two windows and two gabled dormers, all of which are from the 20th century. The central plank door at the rear has a depressed 4-centred arched head and a chamfered frame, accompanied by a 20th-century porch. The left side features an attic window with ventilation louvres. The rear of the farmhouse has a 16-pane sash window on the ground floor to the right and another on the first floor, second from the right. The rear wing contains all 20th-century windows and doors, along with a dormer featuring a reset 4-light casement with leaded lights. The interior has not been inspected.
