Description
The gate-piers at the south end of Lockyer Street in Plymouth date from the mid-19th century. They are a pair of square-on-plan gate-piers made of rusticated granite ashlar. Each pier features plinths and moulded cornices, topped with turned finials. These gate-piers are part of a significant planned group of terraces and villas, which adds to their importance.
