Description
The gate piers and flanking walls at the former entrance to Powisland House, now serving as the entrance to No. 325, date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from freestone ashlar and feature taller, rusticated piers with plinths and squat pyramid copings. The gate piers are square in plan and are flanked by walls that are convex in plan. There is an old wooden dowelled gate with three rails and round-arched bracing. This structure is included for its group value with Powisland House.
