Description

The quay walls at Sutton Harbour, including North-East Quay, North Quay, Sutton Wharf, Vauxhall Quay, and extending to Whitehouse Pier and West Pier, date from the late 18th century and 19th century. They are constructed from coursed Plymouth limestone and feature slightly battered walls. The quay includes dressed granite landing steps and a cobbled surface made of granite sets, with iron tram lines incorporated into the design.
