Description

The gatepiers to Row of Ashes Farmhouse date from the 18th century and are made of limestone. They stand 2.5 metres high and are set within a garden wall constructed of rubble, topped with stone coping. The two piers feature cavetto moulded cornices and large ball finials, and are connected by a semi-circular cast iron arch, which is likely from the late 19th century. Between the piers, there are simple wrought iron gates with two leaves, dating from the 19th century.
