Description

The monument to Thomas Perrinton is located in the churchyard to the south of Holy Trinity Church in Abbots-Leigh. This chest tomb, likely commemorating Thomas Perrinton who died in 1725, is constructed from ashlar stone and features a Baroque design. It includes inscribed oval panels surrounded by moulding, enriched spandrels adorned with heads and C-scrolls, corner balusters with acanthus on volute bases, a concave frieze, and a moulded plinth and cornice.
