Description

This is a pair of houses dating from the mid-19th century, located on Wellington Terrace and Apsley Street. The houses have roughcast fronts, with painted architectural details. A cornice band has been removed, and the houses feature a parapet and end pilasters. They have four windows each. Voussoir lintels and original sash windows are present at Apsley. Each house has a round-headed entrance with a fanlight; a glazed porch is located at number 26. The buildings are listed for their group value, alongside numbers 22 to 26 (even), Apsley, number 20 Gorsecliffe, and the Highcliffe Hotel, all of which contribute to local interest.
