Description

The John Wall Railed Tomb Enclosure, located in the churchyard 10 metres south-east of the chancel at the Church of St. Andrew, is a railed tomb enclosure dated 1789, as indicated on the headstone. It features a limestone base wall topped with wrought iron spear railings. The enclosure is rectangular in shape and includes urn finials, a gate entrance on the south side, and a name plaque on the west side. The west side also has a segmental-headed stone that displays the date and an inscription in rhyming couplets.
