Description
This pair of gate piers and flanking walls, located 30 yards south-west of West Priory, likely dates from around 1831. They are constructed from ashlar stone. The inner piers are panelled and octagonal, featuring crested tops and buttresses on the inner side. The gates are made of cast iron and were added in the 20th century. The flanking walls are made of coursed, squared rubble and extend approximately 3 yards, ending in square turrets that have an embattled parapet.
