Description
No. 108 on Weston Road is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The exterior is rendered to resemble ashlar stone, topped with a pantiled roof featuring coped raised verges and a coped parapet, along with later brick chimney stacks. The building has a double pile design with a long rear extension and consists of two storeys plus an attic, which is accommodated in a modern dormer.
The front facade has three bays, with the outer bays being two-storey canted bays that contain glazing bar sash windows. There is a central 20th-century gabled porch that projects from the main structure. On either side of the main building, there are lower two-storey, single-bay wings that feature narrow windows and high, coped parapets. The rear extension is two storeys tall and has five bays. This building was formerly known as Fenswood Farmhouse.
