4/135 St. Martins (the lower of southernmost two houses only) G.V. II

Detached house, now subdivided. Mid - late C18, altered early C19 and C20; possibly incorporating an earlier cottage. Rendered; the upper floors of the west elevation are slate hung, moulded stone coping; C20 tiled roof. The west elevation is 2 storeys and attics; 4 bays, mixture of French windows with segmental headed lights and one glazing bar sash window on the ground floor, glazing bar sash windows on first floor. Panelled door with semi-circular head off-centre to right; in moulded surround, with segmental hood on slender cast iron columns. To the left is a single bay with a C20 attic storey. The east elevation is 3 storeys, 5 bays with a mixture of glazing bar sash windows and 2-light casements with marginal glazing. Central C20 door to right.
